My true guiding principle...which I have been fully aware of ever since I have come upon myself as a composer: the ideal of the brotherhood of peoples, brotherhood created despite war and all conflict. It is this ideal which I work with all my power to serve through my music; this is why I do not avoid any influence, be it from Slovak, Rumanian, Arabic or any other source. The only thing that matters is that the source be pure, fresh and healthy!(Béla Bartók) In the bus on the way to Seoul In the bus on the way to Seoul (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller In the bus on the way to Seoul In the bus on the way to Seoul (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller In the bus on the way to Seoul In the bus on the way to Seoul (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The Seoul Art Center The Seoul Art Center (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The Seoul Art Center The Seoul Art Center, the photographer Kata Schiller is hidden in the picture (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The Seoul Art Center Flyers of the November SAC concerts (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The Seoul Art Center The concert hall of Seoul Art Center (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The Seoul Art Center The concert hall of Seoul Art Center (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The Seoul Art Center The concert hall of Seoul Art Center (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center Violinist Péter Tornyai (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center Double bass players Kornélia Rihay and Ádám Scheck (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center Percussionist Ádám Maros (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center Wind instrumentalist ladies: Zsófia László, Gerda Rózsa, Katalin Kiss (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center Zoltán Szellék, our stage technician checks everything (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center Harry Rylance rehearsing (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center Conductor Berkes instructing Harry Rylance (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center Conductor Berkes and Gábor Farkas (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center The orchestra (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center The orchestra (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center The orchestra (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center The principal violinist Mátyás Németh and Hajnal Pivnick first violinist (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center Key figures of the double bass part: Krisztián Budai, Bence Botár (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center The beauty of a double bass (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center The double bass part (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center The anchors were well-known Hungarian pieces - the last note (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center A break (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center Ádám Banda rehearsing (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller Rehearsal in the Seoul Art Center István Várdai rehearsing (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The foyer of SAC The box office of our concert (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The foyer of SAC The box office of our concert (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The Seoul Art Center István Várdai preparing behind the stage (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The Seoul Art Center István Várdai preparing behind the stage (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The reception after the concert Soo, our interpreter from the Embassy (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The reception after the concert Shin-Jae-min Deputy Minister of Cultural Affairs, Ferenc Csák State Secretary and Miklós Lengyel Ambassador gave a speech (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The reception after the concert Mrs. Park Geun-hye, Lee Hae-bong, President of the Korean Hungarian Parliamentary Commitee, Kim Tae-won MP, President Batta, Judit Hajba (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The reception after the concert Conductor Berkes and the three fabulous soloists (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The reception after the concert Mrs. Debreceni is deeply touched (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The reception after the concert Flautist Marietta Szűcs taking photos (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The reception after the concert Fantastic Korean food served (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller The reception after the concert The brass team (Photo: Kata Schiller) Photo: Kata Schiller |
