President Batta's opening speech |
My true guiding principle...which I have been fully aware of ever since I have come upon myself as a composer: the ideal of the brotherhood of peoples, brotherhood created despite war and all conflict. It is this ideal which I work with all my power to serve through my music; this is why I do not avoid any influence, be it from Slovak, Rumanian, Arabic or any other source. The only thing that matters is that the source be pure, fresh and healthy!(Béla Bartók) President Batta's opening speech President Batta's opening speech Dean Janjanin's opening speech Dean Janjanin's opening speech Aljosa Jurinic piano Aljosa Jurinic piano Bernard Homan saxophone Bernard Homan saxophone Marin Maras violin Marin Maras violin Sdrjan Bulat guitar Sdrjan Bulat guitar László Holics piano László Holics piano Zsuzsa Laskay violi, Tamás Pregun piano Zsuzsa Laskay violi, Tamás Pregun piano The Hungarian Trio (Zsuzsa Laskay violin, Olívia Farkas cello, Tamás Pregun piano) The Hungarian Trio (Zsuzsa Laskay violin, Olívia Farkas cello, Tamás Pregun piano) Olívia Farkas cello Olívia Farkas cello President Batta shaking hands with the student performers President Batta shaking hands with the student performers |
